Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to project closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a broad commercial construction background who are eager to grow their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the project, including schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain detailed records of progress.
- Help ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the Project Manager in identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Facilitate smooth project closeouts, including punch lists and turnover documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in ground-up or TI projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- No degree required—practical experience and a strong work ethic are valued.
